Ministers Against Bloggers Brigade (MABB)

Wow! There's a new Club on the block...
It seems Malaysian leaders really are on the warpath. I compiled their recent comments... Some of the things they're saying are downright insulting and kinda makes them look smelly. -WTF?

Nazri Aziz, Ministers in The Prime Minister's Department
"Our bloggers are really not up to standard. When they put up something, it’s not something that they want to discuss in a very intellectual way. It’s more because of their anger - the language they use. (Do you mean English?) Why should I read all this rubbish? When the standard of our bloggers is upgraded, then probably I will look at what is written. But anyway, they are a minority. My concern is for the majority."

Translation: Majority = UMNO

Abdullah Badawi, Prime Minister
“It is wrong for bloggers to go overboard, especially if they post slanderous articles against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Islam on the website.”

Zainuddin Maidin, Information Minister
"They assume that the Western style of democratic freedom is better. The goblok writers only have their own interests at heart and should be ignored."

"The political bloggers just write for each other to read, they are not a threat"

Lim Keng Yaik, Energy, Communications and Water Minister
“You want to listen to all these fellows, the lies and misinformation? You get confused and you do not know what is the truth, half-truth or lies."

Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Tourism Minister
“All bloggers are liars, they cheat people using all kinds of methods. From my understanding, out of 10,000 unemployed bloggers, 8,000 are women. All bloggers are not in favour of national unity. Our country has been successful because we are very tolerant with each other, if not, there will be civil war, the Malays will kill the Chinese, the Chinese will take revenge and kill the Malays, and the Indian will kill everyone.”
Malaysians of all races are all closet racists... we' want to kill each other!!! Najib, can I have some C4

Youth and Sports Minister, Azalina Othman
"We need to counter these blatant lies. If we remain quiet, our worry is that some of our members and civil servants will be influenced by all these nonsense."
And stop taking your nonsense? Yes that would really be too bad for you all.

Muhammad Muhammad Taib, UMNO Information Chief

"This is not a man, this is a pondan"
To be fair to him I think he's referring to RPK and not the rest of us

Mahathir, Ex Prime Minister
“That is what the government should learn, if you suppress news then the alternative source will gain credence.”
OK so he's the only one not in MABB. Wonder what he'd say if he were PM still
